Peoria Historical Society's
"Naughty to Nice Tour" leaves from the Peoria Riverfront Museum on Friday beginning at 11 am. Tracing triumphs through time from the 1920's to the present, the tour highlights stories of the city's gangster era, including driving by the site of Peoria's most notorious crime scene, the Bernie Shelton murder. Learn what did and didn't play in Peoria.
On the Haunted Peoria Tour, you'll discover the stories behind the ghostly appearances that have startled and puzzled Peorians through the years including the Lady in White, the Legend of Nee-Nee-Wah, the Curse of Old Lady Gray and more. Running every Friday and Saturday in

Wildlife Scary Park
will take place at Wildlife Prairie Park (located at 3826 N Taylor Rd. in Hanna City) from 5 - 9 pm on Friday, from 2 - 10 pm on Saturday and from 2 - 8 pm on Sunday. Featuring a giant Trick-or-Treat Trail, haunted hayrack rides and the "Train-sylvania Express". Animal encounters and the "not-so-scary" version will run prior to 7 pm each night. Kindred Spirits: Whiskey Tasting and Food Pairing at their office (located at 526 High Point Ln. in East Peoria) on Friday from 5:30 - 8 pm. Scary" annual illuminated Witches Walk will take place at the Fondulac Farm Park (located at 305 Neumann Dr. in East Peoria) on Friday and Saturday from 6 - 8 pm each night. Gary Lisman, author of
"Bittersweet Memories: A History of the Peoria State Hospital," will speak at Alpha Park Library (located at 3527 Airport Road, Bartonville) on Saturday at 9:30 am. The 5K Run Dead
will take place on the Peoria riverfront with registration on Saturday beginning at 1 pm and the race beginning at 3 pm. Runners will endure a 5K run through a zombie-infested course with flags that represent their health. The zombies will try to steal those flags and runners must make it to the finish line with at least one flag or become one of the walking dead.
