Hayrides and Hotdogs
will take place at Sommer Park (located at 6329 N. Koerner Road in Edwards) tonight (Thursday) from 5 - 7 pm. Enjoy roasted hot dogs, chips, carrots, baked beans, marshmallows and drinks. a hayrack ride and mid-1800s autumn play party activities which include sack races and fortune telling. Peoria Historical Society's
"Naughty to Nice Tour" leaves from the Peoria Riverfront Museum on Friday beginning at 11 am. Tracing triumphs through time from the 1920's to the present, the tour highlights stories of the city's gangster era, including driving by the site of Peoria's most notorious crime scene, the Bernie Shelton murder. Learn what did and didn't play in Peoria.
