Dracula: Dance on the Dark Side will be presented by the Central Illinois Ballet on Friday & Saturday at the ICC Performing Arts Center (located at 1 College Drive in East Peoria) at 7:30 pm. An Artist in Residence organization at ICC, the Central Illinois Ballet opens their season with the classic Bram Stoker tale of the world's most famous vampire. Peoria Historical Society's "Naughty to Nice Tour" leaves from the Peoria Riverfront Museum on Friday beginning at 11 am. Tracing triumphs through time from the 1920's to the present, the tour highlights stories of the city's gangster era, including driving by the site of Peoria's most notorious crime scene, the Bernie Shelton murder. The annual Halloween K(night) will take place at Richwoods High School (located at 6301 N University St.) from 6:30 - 8:30 pm.  Geared toward kindergarteners through 6th grade students, admission is 7 canned goods or 7 gently used clothing items per child which will be donated to Heart of Illinois Harvest.
