Peoria Civic Chorale's An American Family Christmas will take place at Five Points Washington this Friday and Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 3 pm. The Festival of Lights Winter Wonderland continues through New Year's Eve at the VFW Post 2078 Park off Springfield Road (located at 123 Par 3 Lane in East Peoria). The drive-through electric park is the Festival of Lights' signature event featuring the majority of the Parade of Lights floats and many other lighted displays. Hours are 5 - 9 pm Sundays through Thursdays and 5 - 11 pm on Fridays & Saturdays. Cost is $10 for all vehicles excepts full size buses, which are $150. For more information, visit www.folepi.org

The Nature Art Show and Sale will take place at Forest Park Nature Center (located at 5809 N Forest Park Dr. in Peoria Heights) Mondays through Saturdays from 9 am - 5 pm and Sunday from 1 - 5 pm (except for Christmas Day) through December 31. Featuring a diversity of media and unique artwork all created by local artists including original nature-related photographs, paintings, woodcarvings, handmade jewelry and more. Wrap It Up For Charity continues at the Shoppes at Grand Prairie (located next to Santa's Village) on Friday from 2:30 - 7:30 pm, Saturday from Noon - 5:30 pm and Sunday from 12:30 - 5:30 pm. Donations will be used for home repair projects for Central Illinois Veterans. The Star Wars Rogue One Premiere will take place at the Riverfront Museum lobby along with Star Wars themed activities tonight (Thursday) beginning with 3D printed Star Wars ornaments available to purchase from 4 - 6 pm for $2 per ornament.  At 5:30 pm, listen to the live podcast of "Coffee with Kenobi" with Dan Zehr & Cory Clubb and then at 6:30 pm, planetarium curator Renae Kerrigan will give a short pre-film talk about realistic interstellar travel. 2016 Adopt-A-Senior will be held at Sharon Healthcare Elms (located at 3611 N Rochelle Ln. in Peoria) on Sunday with the gift bag assembly from 1:30 - 2:30 pm and party 2:30 - 5 pm. Adopt a Senior is a great way to let a valuable senior know that someone still loves them.
