Wine & Whiskers 2018 will be held

Black To The Future, A Journey into
Peoria's African American History will be performed at the Woodruff Career and Technical Center (located at 1800 NE Perry in Peoria) at 7:30 pm on Friday & Saturday and at 4 pm on Sunday. Written and directed by Garry Moore, the play is based upon Dr. Romeo B. Garrett's book, The Negro in Peoria. It follows two students, played by Justin Worley (Richwoods) and Cameron Walton (Peoria High) as they travel through time meeting historical figures, including Jean DuSable, Frederick

The 18th Annual Gospel Fest will take
place at the New Cornerstone Baptist Church (located at 3609 W Harmon Hwy. in Peoria) on Sunday from 4 - 6 pm.
