The 2018 Tremont Turkey Festival will
take place through Sunday in downtown Tremont. Hours are through 10 pm tonight (Thursday), from 11 am - 10 pm on Friday, 6:30 am - 10 pm on Saturday, and 9 am - 5 pm on Sunday. The event features the Miss Tremont Pageant, a pancake & sausage breakfast, a 5k race on Saturday, a frozen turkey toss, a horseshoe tournament, an antique tractor pull, a craft show, a community church service, car show and parade on Sunday plus a carnival, live entertainment, food featuring (of course) turkey as

A Foster Parent Awareness Night Open

Holy Family Heritage Days will be held in
the Holy Family Parking lot (located at the corners of Sterling Ave. and Gale Ave. in Peoria) from 4 - 10 pm today (Thursday), from 4 - 11 pm on Friday and from 11 am - 10 pm on Saturday. The 30th Annual Duck Race Kick Off

World Oceans Day will take place at the

The Art of Trivia will take place at the
Peoria Marriott Pere Marquette in downtown Peoria on Friday with happy hour at 5 pm and dinner at 6 pm. A fundraiser for the Bleeding & Clotting Disorders Institute, guests are encouraged to dress as an art-inspired character, subject of art, musician or performer for the chance to win prizes. The 4th Annual George Jacob Gut

Activities will include traditional singing and music performances, a dance group, mini boat making, create a he bao (a traditional decorative wallet) and "five-colored bracelets" which are worn by children to bring longevity and prosperity.
