The Streets Belong to Me will take
place at Proctor Recreation Center (located at 309 S DuSable St. in Peoria) tonight (Thursday) from 4 - 7 pm. The 2018 Summer Camp Music Festival will
be held at Three Sisters Park (located at 17201 N State Route 29 in Chillicothe) beginning tonight (Thursday) with a pre-party and running through Sunday evening. With more than 20,000 attendees, the event features more than 125 bands on 9 stages over 3 days. The festival also features a kid's camp, non-profit organizations, on-site camping, unique arts & craft artisans plus a variety of food and beer. Encore 2018 featuring the Morton Civic
Chorus will take place tonight (Thursday) through Saturday at 7:30 pm and Sunday at 2 pm at the Hartmann Center Theater on the Bradley University Campus. Under the direction of Denise Adams, all proceeds benefit the Central Illinois Memorial Kidney Fund (CIMKF), supporting kidney dialysis patients in the tri-county area. The Tireless Project
will hold its monthly collection of unwanted tires for Peoria residents at Jimax (located at 2000 W. Clark Street in Peoira) on Saturday from 9 - 11 am. The first 10 tires are free with a $1 charge for each subsequent tire (funds will be used for project supplies and neighborhood cleanups). The limit is 20 tires per customer and only passenger and truck tires 17" or less will be accepted (no rims or oversized tires). If tires are left after designated hours, a $200 fine for littering will

The No Child Wet Behind
5K and 1 mile Fun Run and Diaper Drive will be held at Donovan Park (located at 5805 N Knoxville Ave. in Peoria) on Saturday beginning at 9 am. guided tours of the sculptures that are on display for 12 months on Washington Street between State and Fulton every Saturday through October 27. A Memorial Day Service will take place

The 4th Annual Memorial Day
Springdale Salute 5K Run/1 Mile Walk will be held at lower Glen Oak Park on Monday beginning at 8 am taking runners through Springdale Cemetery. The entry fee is $30 for adults and $15 for kids for the 5k Run/Walk, $20 for adults and $15 for kids for the 1 Mile Walk.
