Seussical the musical will be presented by Community Children's Theatre at Peoria Players Theatre (located at 4300 N University in Peoria) opens tonight (Thursday)  and runs through Saturday at 7 pm each night and also at 1:30 pm on Friday through Sunday.  Featuring favorite Dr. Seuss characters including the Cat in the Hat, Horton the Elephant and Cindy Lou Who, tickets are general admission seating and are $15 for adults and $10 for children ages 12 and under and are available at the Peoria Park District's Noble Center in Lakeview Park or online at www.cctpeoria.org/tickets

The Bridges of Madison County opens at Corn Stock Theatre (located in upper Bradley Park) on Friday beginning at 7:30 pm and runs through Saturday, July 21. The musical version of the popular book and movie, the story follows Francesca Johnson, a beautiful Italian woman who married an American soldier to flee war-ravaged Italy, who looks forward to a rare four days alone on her Iowa farm when her family heads to the 1965 State Fair. When ruggedly handsome, National Geographic photographer, Robert Kincaid, pulls into her driveway seeking directions, what happens in those four days may very well alter the course of Francesca’s life.
