Corn Stock for Kids will host
Audition Workshops at the Corn Stock Theatre Center (located in Upper Bradley Park in Peoria) on Sunday with the acting workshop running from 1 - 3 pm and the vocal workshop running from 3 - 5 pm. For the acting workshop, students between 7 - 18 will present their memorized monologue to a panel, who will work with the student on vocal inflection, timing, dynamics, and overall presentation. For the vocal workshop, students should bring a prepared and memorized audition song along
with sheet music for the provided accompanist. The audition panel will provide feedback on song choice, performance, and give them tips that will help them with future musical auditions in the area. Participants are welcome to attend both workshops. Cost to participate is $12 per child per workshop, which gives the child a 20 minute period to work with the coaches.
