Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat will be presented at Eastlight Theatre beginning at 7:30 pm on Friday & Saturday and at 2 pm on Sunday. An annual tradition, this is its 28th year on Eastlight’s stage. The Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice musical tells the biblical story of Joseph and his eleven brothers. The Nature Art Show and Sale continues at Forest Park Nature Center (located at 5809 N Forest Park Dr. in Peoria Heights) through New Year's Eve on Mondays through Saturdays from 9 am to 5 pm and Sundays from 1 to 5 pm (except Christmas Day). Featuring a diversity of media and unique artwork all created by local artists, items available include original nature-related photographs, paintings, woodcarvings, handmade jewelry and more. The Community Festival of Nativities will take place at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints (located at 3700 W Reservoir Blvd. in Peoria) from 5 - 9 pm tonight (Thursday)from 10 am - 9 pm on Friday & Saturday and from Noon - 9 pm on Sunday. Featuring nativity displays from around the world and musical performances by local talent, members from different churches have come together to create this unique and complimentary interfaith nativity exhibit. Folepi's Winter Wonderland continues through New Year's Eve at the VFW Post 2078 Park off Springfield Road (located at 123 Par 3 Lane in East Peoria). The drive-through electric park is the Festival of Lights' signature event featuring the majority of the Parade of Lights floats and many other lighted displays. Hours are 5 - 9 pm Sundays through Thursdays and 5 - 11 pm on Fridays & Saturdays. Cost is $10 for cars, $30 small bus (party, shuttle, mini & school), and $150 for full size buses.
