Basic Digital Image Management and Editing using Adobe Lightroom Classic taught by Craig Stocks - April 6 & 13, 2019
|
The class is built around
Adobe's Lightroom program (officially known as "Adobe Photoshop Lightroom"). Lightroom has quickly become the de-facto industry standard
for image management and basic editing among pros and amateurs alike.
|

This class is designed to show you how to:
- Easily copy your digital images to your computer.
- Store images in a master catalog that makes it easy to find your images.
- Re-size images to an appropriate size for email, social media or printing.
- Do basic editing such as cropping, brightness and color adjustments, and red-eye corrections.
- Create a foundation for future growth, including the ability to seamlessly integrate with Photoshop.
|
Digital photography has created many new
possibilities, but many of us struggle to efficiently manage all of our digital image files and make basic edits. Fortunately, there are a few very powerful, affordable and easy to use programs from Adobe that can help us accomplish these tasks.
This class includes two sessions taught by
talented local photographer Craig Stocks. The first session provides an introduction to Lightroom where we’ll go over important settings and basic tasks to organize your photos. The second session covers the Develop Module where you edit and optimize your photos. You don’t need any previous experience with photo editing but should be familiar with basic computer operation.
