The Peoria Historical Society's Grandview Drive & Springdale Cemetery Tour takes you to view spectacular views of the river from the world's most beautiful drive while seeing elegant homes of past and present Peorians then continues to the oldest chartered cemetery in the state of Illinois running every Friday in June at 11:30 am departing from the Exhibit A Gallery (located at 4607 N Prospect Rd. in Peoria Heights). And their Roll Out the Barrel Tour takes you through the earliest sections of downtown Peoria and into the Warehouse District where you'll discover facts about distilling in Peoria running every Saturday in June beginning at 1:30 pm departing from the Caterpillar Visitors Center on the Peoria Riverfront. Shrek the Musical continues at the Corn Stock Theatre Tent (Iocated in upper Bradley Park) tonight (Thursday) through Saturday at 7:30 pm. The "Art of the Brick" continues at the Peoria Riverfront Museum through September 2. Featuring intriguing works of art made exclusively from LEGO® bricks, this critically acclaimed collection was constructed by renowned contemporary artist Nathan Sawaya. The world's most elaborate display of LEGO brick art, it features more than 100 pieces of artwork with original pieces as well as re-imagined versions of famous masterpieces such as van Gogh's "Starry Night" and da Vinci's "Mona Lisa" as well as a gallery showcasing an innovative, multimedia collection of LEGO brick-infused photography produced in tandem with award-winning photographer Dean West. Admission to all exhibitions, galleries and public planetarium shows is $18 for adults, $17 for senior citizens aged 60+ and students with ID and $16 for youth ages 3 - 17.
