The Peoria
Chiefs will take on Burlington at Dozer Stadium tonight (Thursday) at 6:35 pm and Cedar Rapids on Friday & Saturday at 6:35 pm and on Sunday at 5:05 pm. The CEFCU Jazz Series

The Olde English
Faire will take place at the Wildlife Prairie Park on Friday through Sunday from 9 am- 5 pm each day. On Friday, children will learn about the medieval era from the Knights of Valour. Jousting demonstrations are at Noon on Friday and at 1 pm & 3 pm on Saturday & Sunday. Other entertainment includes sword fighting, storytellers, archery and falconry plus there will also be vendors, food and more. The King's Feast will take place on Saturday and Sunday from 1 - 3 pm and
includes a lavish meal, exclusive entertainment, a take home gift plus VIP seating for the 3 pm joust. Cost for the feast is $50 and includes admission to the event. Regular admission is free on Friday for WPP members or $10 for ages 13 and up, $6 for ages 3 to 12 and kids 2 and under are free with a $1 discount if dressed in medieval garb. Parking is $5. A Sightseeing

The Shaft Civil War
Monument Groundbreaking will take place at Springdale Cemetery (located at 3014 N Prospect Rd. in Peoria) on Saturday beginning at 11 am. The restored monument will be re-erected inside the cemetery entrance on Prospect Road.
