The Annual Dunlap Days
Festival will be held at North Park (JFL Field located at 100 N. Hickory Street in Dunlap) beginning at 5 pm tonight (Thursday), at 6 pm Friday and 1 pm on Saturday. Van Gogh: Of Wheat
Fields and Clouded Skies will be shown at the Riverfront Museum's Giant Screen Theatre on Friday & Saturday at 6 pm and on Sunday at 2 pm and 4:30 pm. A new look at Van Gogh through the legacy of the largest private collector of artworks by the Dutch painter: Helene Kröller-Müller (1869-1939), who bought nearly 300 of his works. 31st Annual Duck Race will kick off at Eastside Centre in East Peoria (located at 1 Eastside Dr. in East Peoria) on Saturday at 4 pm with the race beginning at 6 pm. A fundraiser featuring 30,000 ducks sliding down the water slide, cost to adopt a duck is $5. Winning ducks are selected at random and prizes include a $10,000 cash grand prize plus gift cards to popular retail stores, restaurants and other area businesses.
