The 2019 Peoria Irish Fest will take place on the Peoria Riverfront beginning Friday at 4 pm through Sunday at 6 pm. Showcasing Irish heritage through song, dance, food, drink, cultural exhibits and more, listen to Irish bands and musicians including live music by Doolin', The Gothard Sisters, Seven Nations,
Skerryvore, Jig Jam, Turas, Roundstone Buskers and the Bogside Zukes, Highland games, Irish food, Irish dancing, a vendor marketplace, a cultural village, kids activities and Sunday Mass, plus the Happy Hour 5K on Friday at 6 pm benefiting the the Nicholas J. Catch Me If You Can will be presented at the Corn Stock Theatre Tent (located in upper Bradley Park) opening Friday and runs through Saturday, August 31st at 7:30 pm each night. The first-time this show has been presented in the area, it's based on the book and movie starring Tom Hanks and Leonardo DiCaprio
telling the incredible true story of con man Frank Abagnale. The show takes place in the 60's and the music was written by the composers of Hairspray the musical and was nominated for four Tony awards.
