| Central Illinois Jazz Society Hosts the Whitney Ashe Trio on Sunday |
| Ashe leads the Trio on piano and will feature Matt Hughes on bass and Jason Brannon on percussion. The CIJS House Band under the leadership of Larry Harms will kick off the show, featuring jazz musicians from the area playing a variety of jazz standards and other popular arrangements. |

| She's been compared to Etta James, Amy Winehouse, Janis Joplin, Billie Holiday, and Betty Boop, but Davina is a true original. The group's focused, clean sound and emphasis on acoustic instruments is novel to both blues and jazz worlds. |
