Spook Hollow Opens This Weekend
 
Featuring 3 haunts: the Spook Hollow Trail, M. C. Manor and M. C. Nightmare, this is the longest-running outdoor haunted attraction in Illinois.  All proceeds from the event are donated to community organizations.
 
 
 
 
 

 
Mittelalter (Middle Ages) Harvest Fest at Hickory Grove Park on Saturday
 
Featuring live entertainment by the Ratskellar Brummers and Al’s Pals, there will also be food including bratwurst, schnitzel sandwiches, sauerkraut, German potato salad, Bavarian pretzels and “Uber Schnitzel” sandwiches plus hot chocolate, hot cider, Glühwein (hot spiced wine), beer & wine.
 
 
 
 
Spider Hill Continues This Weekend
 
Featuring three attractions, Massacre Mansion & Trail of Terror and Zombie Invasion Final Chapter, this year's Zombie Invasion is family friendly (no paintballs) and suitable for all ages, the haunted house runs Fridays & Saturdays through October.
 
 
 
 
 
 
The Manhattan Transfer at the Scottish Rite Theatre on Sunday
 
The Manhattan Transfer brings their carefully crafted sound seamlessly incorporating pop, jazz, R&B, rock and roll, swing, symphonic, and a cappella music to the Scotty.
 
 
 
 
Brand New Haunted House Continues This Weekend
 
The new Aura Haunted House runs Fridays & Saturdays through October plus blackout nights on November 4 & 5 at the Old Peoria State Hospital in Bartonville.  According to stories and eyewitness accounts, including paranormal investigations, the ghosts of some of the people who have passed on still roam the hallways there.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Lakeview Park After Dark Next Weekend
 
Lakeview Park After Dark brings back the vintage, all hallows eve experience of ghosts, jack-o-lanterns, and witches, while ensuring a “family friendly” adventure.
