Spook Hollow Opens This Weekend
 
Featuring 3 haunts: the Spook Hollow Trail, M. C. Manor and M. C. Nightmare, this is the longest-running outdoor haunted attraction in Illinois.  Open Friday & Saturday nights through the end of October, all are proceeds donated to community organizations.
 
 
 

 
Spoon River Drive Continues This Saturday & Sunday
 
The annual Fall Festival features vendors with unique arts & crafts plus food and beverages in the Fulton County towns of Astoria, Avon, Bernadotte, Canton, Cuba, Duncan Mills, Ellisville, Farmington, Ipava, Lewistown, Orchard Mills, Smithfield, St. David and Vermont covering more than 100 miles in Fulton County.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Spider Hill Continues Friday & Saturday at Three Sisters Park
 
Featuring three attractions: Massacre Mansion, Trail of Terror plus new for 2023 is the Enlightened Souls Paranormal Tour which is a unique experience investigating a historical building at Three Sisters Park.  Spider Hill runs Fridays & Saturdays through October.
 
 
 

 
German American Middle Ages Harvest Fest is Sunday
 
Food including bratwurst, schnitzel sandwiches, sauerkraut, German potato salad, and Bavarian pretzels plus the “Uber Schnitzel” sandwich with melted cheese and grilled onions will be available along with hot chocolate, hot cider and Glühwein will be available if the weather is cool.  Soft drinks, beer and wine will also be available for purchase.
 
 
 

 
Aura Haunted House Continues at the Bartonville Hospital
 
Originally the Illinois Asylum for the Incurable Insane, according to stories and eyewitness accounts, including paranormal investigations, some of the people who passed on remained behind at the Bartonville Hospital to walk the hallways as ghosts.  Aura will be open every Friday & Saturday through October 28 plus blackout nights on Halloween and November 3 & 4.
 
 
 

 
Echoing Air Will Perform at Westminster Presbyterian Church on Sunday
 
Featuring sacred as well as secular repertoire from the baroque period, this early music group from Indianapolis comprised of two countertenors, two recorders, and basso continuo will perform the musical works as they were in the 1600s.
