Peoria Ballet's Sleeping Beauty This Friday & Saturday
 
Inspired by the beloved fairytale classic, the performance will include elaborate costumes, lively music, plus a full cast of characters. 
 
 
 
 
Peoria Sister Cities International Night is Friday at the Itoo Hall
 
The Four Sister Cities groups of Peoria including the Friends of Friedrichshafen, Germany, Benxi, China, Clonmel, Ireland and Aytou, Lebanon will host the event which features a variety of ethnic food samples, a raffle, and live entertainment.
 
 
 
Comedian Jack Baker at the Waterhouse on Saturday
 
A regular at The Comedy Vault, The Improv, and CG’s Comedy Club, he has shared the stage with such comedic powerhouses as Bobcat Goldthwait, Dan Gould, and Liza Treyger.  A cash bar will be available during the show.

Featuring French solo masterworks inspired by improvisation including Gabriel Fauré’s Impromptu, Gabriel Pierné’s Impromptu-Caprice, Albert Roussel’s Impromptu, and François Couperin’s Fourth Prelude from L’Art de toucher le clavecin other works by Claude Debussy and Henriette Renié will also be performed.
 
 
 
 
Chaps at the Barn III Dinner Theatre and Morton Civic Chorus
 
Our latest Entertainment Reports features Chaps, a cowboy musical comedy that takes place in 1944 at the BBC in the UK with the final performances Thursday through - Sunday.  And Encore 2024 presented by the Morton Civic Chorus will be performed May 23 - 26 at the Bertha Frank Center in Morton.
