Illinois Shakespeare Festival Continues This Weekend at Ewing Theatre
 
Friday is the preview performance of Macbeth, where supernatural beings provide the catalyst for a warrior’s quest for power in Shakespeare’s thrilling, bloody tragedy. Macbeth also runs on Saturday.  And on Sunday, Twelfth Night tells the classic Shakespearian story of four Athenians who run away to the forest only to have Puck the fairy make both of the boys fall in love with the same girl.

Oliver Opens on Friday at Corn Stock Theatre
 
The classic Lionel Bart musical tells the story of the Dickens novel, Oliver Twist, about the orphan as he navigates the underworld in Victorian England's London where theft and violence prevail, searching for a home, a family, and, most importantly, for love.
 
 
 
 
East Peoria Farmer's Market is Friday
