Illinois Shakespeare Festival Continues at Ewing Theatre
 
Catch all three shows in this year's Festival this weekend at the beautiful Ewing Theatre in Bloomington.  The Festival features pre-show entertainment plus food trucks most nights so you can dine in the courtyard or on the lawn before the shows.

The 2nd Annual Plant Based Peoria Expo is Saturday at the Civic Center
 
Featuring food and retail vendors, service organizations, live music along with dynamic speakers who will talk about the benefits of a plant-based diet plus activities for children as well. Admission is free.
 
 
 
 
The German American Society's Corn Boil is Sunday
 
The family friendly event features activities including the Central Illinois Soccer League playoff games, bags plus a children’s play area at the park.  Meals will be available including a pork chop sandwich, all you can eat sweet corn, baked beans, and coleslaw along with German and domestic beers, soft drinks and a cash bar.
