Hosted by the German American Society, the event will feature a German buffet from Noon – 6 pm including Bavarian ham, Frickadellen (German meatballs), baked chicken, green beans with bacon, red cabbage, spaetzle, mashed potatoes, and gravy plus hot chocolate & coffee. Dessert will also be available. |

The 2025 Martin Luther King Jr. Celebration Luncheon will feature Nontombi Naomi Tutu, the daughter of 1984 Nobel Peace Prize winner Archbishop Desmond Tutu, an activist for race, gender and human rights. The annual luncheon will be held at the Peoria Civic Center. |

| Rivermen Take the Ice This Weekend |

Friday night is Team Calendar Night at Carver Arena, Saturday is Grateful Dead Night with a specialty jersey auction after the game and Sunday is Family Fun Day with inflatables before the game, face painting and balloon artists plus there will be a post-game skate with the team following the game (bring your own skates) and $3 hot dogs for kids. |
