The Illinois Shakespeare Festival Continues This Weekend |
Hamlet runs tonight (Thursday) as well as on Sunday. A
Midsummer Night's Dream will be presented on Friday and The
Importance of Being Earnest runs on Saturday. All shows take place
at at Ewing Theatre in Bloomington. |

German American Society's Annual Corn Boil is Sunday |
Featuring the Central Illinois Soccer League playoff games, bags and a children’s play area, there will also be live entertainment by Billy Washburn, meals including a pork chop sandwich, all you can eat sweet corn, baked beans, and coleslaw plus German and domestic beer, soft drinks and a cash bar. |

Peoria Muni Band Sunday at the Glen Oak Amphitheater |
Directed by Dr. David Vroman, former Director of Band Activities and the Department Chairperson for Music at Bradley University, Sunday's concert is themed Disney Anyone? and will feature Steve Williams as the vocal soloist and Christopher Brandt as the xylophone soloist. |
