| Into the Woods Opens Friday at Bradley University's Hartmann Center |
| The beloved American classic from the the legendary Stephen Sondheim follows the characters you know and love from Grimms’ Fairy Tales as they venture “into the woods” where predicaments, perils, and life lessons abound. Performances run Friday through Sunday this weekend and next Thursday through Sunday. |

| Peoria Area World Affairs Council's The World We Made is Next Thursday |
| Featuring guests Ambassador Marc Grossman, Ambassador Alina Romanowski, and author James M. Lindsay, the program will explore the world the U.S. helped shape after the destruction of WWII, designing global systems that met the needs of the U.S. as we helped the world, particularly Europe, rebuild. There will be an optional dinner. |

| The First Friday Art Tour is Tomorrow |
| Visit the artist studios where many artists create, display and sell their work. Organizations who participate include Peoria Art Guild, the Foster Gallery, the Contemporary Art Center, the Peoria Public Library as well as several others. |

| Heritage Ensemble's Evening of Jazz is Saturday |
| The annual fundraiser will take place at the Life Together Center and offers general admission or VIP tickets which allows early entry and a special presentation. |

| Sunday is Free Admission Day at the Peoria Riverfront Museum |
| Visitors will have access to all galleries, plus enjoy make and take art activities, planetarium shows, guided tours, and Bradley University STEM activities from Noon - 5 pm. |

| Friday is Military Appreciation Night for the Rivermen |
| The Rivermen will take on the Quad City Storm and the first 1,000 fans will receive a 2 oz. bag of Rivermen Coffee Blend from CXT Roasting. All veterans and military personnel can get a buy one, get one free ticket special by calling 309-676-1040 or visiting the Rivermen office. Plus there will also be a veterans camo jersey post-game jersey auction. |

Performances run through this weekend and continue Wednesday through Sunday next week. Please note: opening night and both Sunday matinees are sold out. |
