| Guys & Dolls Opens on Friday at Eastlight Theatre |
|
In the classic musical, Guys and Dolls
takes you from the heart of Times Square to the cafes of Havana,
Cuba, and even into the sewers of New York City, but eventually
everyone ends up right where they belong. Performances run

| Featuring Chidi Blyden, Principal at Culturally Bound, leads a team focused on development, security, and stability for building relations between the US and the African continent, the presentation will include a buffet dinner featuring traditional African delights. The event will take place at the ISU Alumni Center in Normal. |

| The Pekin Marigold Festival is This Weekend |
| Featuring a carnival, Art in the Park, Taste of Pekin, a Festive Food Court, a parade on Saturday, a cardboard boat race, a Lagoon Glow on Saturday night, a Sunday morning breakfast and community worship service, live entertainment throughout the event plus kids activities and more, the Festival continues through Sunday. |

| First Friday is Tomorrow at Multiple Locations |
| Organizations who participate include the Peoria Art Guild, the Foster Gallery (within the First United Methodist Church), the Contemporary Art Center, the Peoria Public Library, Lit on Fire Books, Artful Journey, North Art Studios, Wheel Art Pottery Studios, Studios on Sheridan and Casa De Arte where you can visit the artist studios where many artists create, display and sell their work. |
